Event Managment Software

Anyone here have experience with Events management packages? There's a need/interest here in a full blown events management package like EMS Enterprise. The issue that this raises is the potential for overlap between the resources they might want to schedule for events and resources that would be available for reservation through Zimbra. Anyone have experience keeping something like this in sync?
