Testing Zimbra web client using testing tools like Selenium

Hi, we are trying to automate some tests on Zimbra using Selenium tool. However Zimbra web application does not have element locators (id, name, etc) to help the tool recognize the html elements.

Is there any workaround or other automation tool that can be used?
Also, is there some configurable property post Zimbra installation that can be made such that element locators are visible.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the elements for the standard (lite html) client?

Also, you can do stuff like
