Default How to select all messages in an imap folder

I periodically have to go through some imap folders, select all m,essages and delete. Is there any straightforward way to do this in the webmail client?

Thanks in advance.

James

You can change your preference of how many messages you want to view at once, 10/25/50/100. (options/preferences > mail > number of items to display per page)
CTL-A would select all on that page.
(See the options shortcuts tab for some other good quick keys.)

And before you ask
It would be a lot of traffic if someone had a huge folder and loaded it into their browser, but you can still delete the folder itself (you did say you wanted to 'select all and delete').

Except you can't delete special folders like "Inbox, Sent, Drafts".

Didn't know if he was admin/user (he made this thread in the user's section).

If your an admin:
su zimbra
zmmailbox -z -m user@domain.com emptyFolder /folderName

<FolderActionRequest><action op="empty" recursive="false" id="folderID"/></FolderActionRequest>

yep! -but I have to assume 4.5.x
Bug 14213 - Mail Client should have a "delete items in a folder" (empty folder) action

There was some trouble when emptying remote/shared folders (where your a manager) because of the wrong ID usage-let me check on that bug and see.

Nice to know there's some powerful command line tools underneath.
I don't think that will help James if he's not the admin.
That reminds me I've got the read the manuals sometime.

The v5 shared folder empty issue has been fixed-however you will have to manually refresh sometimes until bug Bug 6082 - enable notification for delegate stores/shared folders is fixed.
