Default Appointment changes in web interface

Hi all,

When I create a new "appointment" on the calendar, the calendar
cannot be edited...

For instance, I create a new appointment and accidentally post it to
my personal calendar. If I try to edit it to post to another
calendar, I get the message:

Item "15551" does not exist.

This circumstance seems to cause a lot of issues. If you try to
delete it, you will get another error message, or you will see the
event on the calendar with a transparent look. Do you have any ideas?
It is completely reproducible, it happens every time.

Welcome to the forums,
-Both are marked fixed
Bug 7129 - cannot move existing appt/message/etc. to another user's mailbox has been marked resolved (not checked by quality assurance yet)
and the related Bug 18855 - Web client fixes needed for inter-mailbox appointment move has been verified and will be in v5

definitely not fixed here.

if someone creates a calendar appointment and goes to edit it, it will become transparent, and usually can't be deleted. since zimbra defaults to the "personal calendar," people forget to change to the shared calendar quite often.

therefore, we always have transparent events all over the calendar.

you have not heard of others that still have this bug?

Well that's because their currently being worked into the v5betas (GA is 4.5.7 right now).

If your an admin:
Quote:
su zimbra
zmcontrol -v
If your an end-user, in the search bar:
Quote:
$set:get version
You could also add that output to your forum profile so we don't have to ask later
