is this still an active request? would ove to see it of course. our users have to use IE7 as part of a student mgmt app that favors ie, so one for that platform as well would be ideal (even though the it love firefox).

Any toolbar that would allow for webclient and/or desktop to connect calendar and contacts to the outside world woul be great !.....places like Plaxo, LinkedIn, yahoo, and google become online repositories for mainly calendar and contact information with the ability to synchronize with multiple targets (Plaxo does this very well). The Zimbra client needs to somwhow allow for compatibility with these utilities......

A toolbar is a cool idea.
Being able to show unread RSS count, next appointment, Friend IM status

How about a firefox sidebar instead of toolbar?

what is the status of this? Are there any complications or did you just forgot to publish it?
This would be so awesome and make a lot of stuff easier and quicker

btw it would be great if one could stuff without loading the complete zimbra suite (add a task or mark it done)
Regards
F.

Personally, I wouldn't want to use it. I could just as easily set a tab to be logged into the webmail client. And as was mentioned in the original post, so many other programs install toolbars today. You could just about fill your whole IE or Firefox window with nothing but toolbars!

I dont use anyother toolbars but Zimbra manages my mail, contact and calendar so for me its worth having some space of my 1920*1200 solution

If the toolbar reduce the time of logging in and create an appointment and all the stuff its worth it...
