Default Clamav is eating my harddrive

I have zimbra installed, but not yet live on my LAN, to have users setup and use emaiil accounts on it.

This morning, I ran apt-get update, and then after running apt-get clean I noticed I had no more disc space. Looking around in /tmp I found several clamav files, as listed here:

scott@david:/tmp$ ls

Here's an ls -al listing for one of them:

drwx------ 2 zimbra zimbra 4096 2007-08-18 10:45 clamav-f8e6100ae379e8352a488d6734bbffd5

Why is clamav doing this, or why is any other process doing this? How can I stop this nonsense?

i'm not sure why you have those from clamav, maybe files used for updates. But when I checked mine, I don't have any file from clamav.
