Default Ubuntu support

I nuked my last rpm based server some time ago, went through Gentoo and am currently using Ubuntu.

Zimbra sounds cool, but for my personal/family use building another server sounds nuts.

Anybody else tried this on Ubuntu, either Warty or Hoary?

I am going to try running alien against all the packages and then installing.

Any known issues? Suggestions?

do a search for debian, and you'll see someone here posted a complete instructions on how to get M1 i think it was running by converting rpms.

i've now got latest cvs version running on debian compiled from source. there is a little bodging required, if i can be of any help please shout.
