Default searching for messages and junk button

Is this a bug or an RFE?

When you do a search and it returns a message in your junk folder, my users are asking for the ability to mark something as 'Not Junk' if it were in the junk folder. The issue initially came up when somebody was searching with in:Junk, via having the always show search string option checked. Since he was looking for people he wanted to save from the bowels of spam hell, the not junk button was needed.

The question is whether this is a bug or an RFE, and if it's already posted somewhere so I could just vote for it. I'm open to the possibility it's up there but I'm not using the right search term.

When you're searching in the Junk folder, the "Junk" toolbar button should switch to "Not Junk".

If that's not the behavior you're seeing, what search is the user running?

I can replicate the user's experience by using the search term "in:junk refinance" which returns a number of messages prefaced with [SPAM], our defined prefix. When I select any message the button stays 'Junk'.

Am I missing something?

Probably not. Most likely, the rules for switching the button from "Junk" to "Not Junk" are too stringent. Please file a report in bugzilla and we'll see what we can do.

For now, just search on "in:junk" and the "Not Junk" button should appear properly.
