Cannot add email address to Distribution list

I'm having trouble adding a .edu e-mail address to a distribution list. When I try to add the .edu address Zimbra says it is an invalid email address.

The email address looks like this:

user@e.ajdsfkl.edu

I imagine the "e" prefix in the domain is causing the problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Have you actually got a domain maned 'e.ajdsfkl.edu'? I have a recollection that there was a bug for single letter domain names, perhaps you've hit that. Check in bugzilla for it, you should also try doing this from the command line.Bugzilla Main Page
