Default Conversation View

I like the way the conversation view works, but I have 1 small criticism: it selects the newest message instead of the oldest unread message.

So basically, every time I open a conversation, I go to the oldest message, select that one and move up. It would be much nicer if it went straight there.

Great product.

It goes to the message that matched the search. So in:inbox (the default) it's matching the latest message hence why we go there. If you do a search for content and it matches a message in the middle it will go to that matched message first.

It should really go to the oldest unread message in the conversation. Do you find yourself reading the message it selects or scrolling down and clicking the oldest unread conversation?

I read the oldest first. At least for me most times it'll include the original and I can see the latest on the thread. Some times like in the case of a forum thread I can see it's already been replied to by Marc and simple mark the entire conversation as read. I see your point and for some it might be more useful to start with the oldest unread. I'll file an RFE.
