Download with pop still marked as unread

Hi,

I've search though the forum and in bug tracking system but didn't find anything relevant.

I've a problem with the messages I retrieve via POP. I'm using Thunderbird but the problem is the same with Outlook. Some messages don't appear as read in Zimbra after downloading them.

What can be the solution ?

Use IMAP for connecting to a ZImbra server, it's much better than pop3.
