I just don't understand these "copyright" issues your having. If you're logged in as root you should not have any permission issues copying/rsyning the files.

Have you mounted the USB drive properly?

Can you create a folder or text file etc on the USB drive?

I haven't found a way to do this. I end up firing up Thunderbird if I needs to create a HTML message with images etc.

I think it's every few days by default.

you can check the frequency with:

zmprov gacf | grep zimbraLastLogonTimestampFrequency

and set it with:

zmprov mcf...
