Thought I had replied some time ago. Must be not. My apologies. I too am using 7.1.4 build11299 and am very satisfied. All is working well for both POP and IMAP accts.

Using Desktop 7.1.4 (build 11234)
3 mail accounts loaded.
When selecting the Mail tab and the account that syncs with my work server
all three account links remain in view on the link bar runing...

Load the latest Beta version 7.1.4. All is good. It is a little quirky if you are using mutliple accounts ( I have 4), but it is still the best email and contact program I have used to date.

IMAP email accounts appear not to work with this version
