Case ever opened? I've searched this is all I've found

I have seen this error several times. Each case the user tried to send via Excel or Word application:

File> send to > mail recipient (as Attachment) ...

The error message suggest the file size...

could it also be something else since the message is the same other external mailboxes. ie. XXXXXXX@gmail.com and XXXXXXXX@yahoo.com etc.
