That is really strange. Can you try reproducing in Firefox? Go to the Setup page, and clicking on "Open in Web Browser" link at the bottom. ZD will launch in your default browser. If its not Firefox,...
If you're using Firefox, do the following:

Fair enough. Please post the bug number here once you create a new RFE in case others are interested..
Haven't heard/seen this ever. Can you post a new bug and provide screenshots? Please include the build number and any repro steps if necessary. Thanks.
Short answer is no.
We mainly do this because rendering very large messages takes a long time on browsers. A large message is defined as being more than 100k and this value is hardcoded.

If you're referring to the autocomplete data that is shown when composing a new mail, then no - there is no "file" this data comes from. The web client is doing all the work dynamically off your...
Could not repro either of these issues on upcoming 5_0_6 builds. Tested against FF2/Mac.
Have you looked at the source code of any zimlets? Those would be the best place for examples to interacting with external web services.
Strange. Can you open the other apps (i.e. Address Book, Calendar, etc) and see if a "Bills" folder exists? FYI, folder names are unique across apps.
What happens if you go to compose, switch to "Text" mode and then switch back to "HTML" - can you then type in the textarea?
Reply/Forward/etc is currently not supported in new window:
Bug 16130 - Reply/Forward buttons missing for Email opened in Separate Window
Feel free to vote for this bug!
Can you provide more details:

- Are you trying to compose in...
