I have:

35 Web Client Sessions
106 IMAP Sessions

It's not a clean installation but it worked.

1. shutdown zimbra ( remove startup script)
2. upgrade Ubuntu to 12.04
3. Install zimbra 8.

In the last version this had to do with the url you are using. it had to be the fqn of the zimbra server. I had this problem on zimbra 7

I like to run the zca 8 ova under kvm.

I tried to convert the vmdk files to qcow2.

o tar xfv ../zca-8.0.0.0-1147_OVF10.ova
o qemu-img convert -O qcow2 zca-8.0.0.0-1147-data.vmdk...

the problem is, zimbra 7 does not support ubuntu 12.04 and zimbra 8 does not support ubuntu 8.04 and ubuntu 10.04 is supported by both, and I thought it would be a good thing to have a working...
