from an admin account....

Try change "ldap://clonesvr01.a-resolvable-domain.com:389" with the original name server, and modify file hosts to match original_name_server with the ip of the server "clonesrv01"

if you have register a new DNS record for the server, i think is a new server....

test if zimbra start if you use the old server name. If the old server is a production server register in the file...

if you have changed the server, make sure the file hosts contain the old reference with the new ip

ip_new old_fqdn old_host

SOLVED

The problem was the file .snapshot created by NetApp in the file system. This file blocked the "/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmfixperms -verbose -extended" command.

Now the system works fine....

file hosts is ok and the DNS also
the system has worked ok until i've added a secondary nic for mounting a new NFS file system on SAN-NetApp on a dedicated VLAN.
