Hm.

The installer should have created the .desktop file on you desktop, but you still need to start the Zimbra Desktop service. I start it with my GNOME session (System -> Preference -> Sessions)....

You should make the .sh executable:

$ chmod +x zdesktop_0_84_build_1119_linux_i686.sh

Now you can start the installer :D

Grab the .sh installer and install it on your $HOME directory - it JustWorks(TM) :)

I would vote for Motorola LJ phones, but hey, there's a client for V8 now (and it works with Z6!)

Got the same error. I had to download the jad file to my computer, download by hand the referenced jar file, and transfer it to my phone via Bluetooth.

Anyway, the RAZR2 V8 version works...

But will Neo1973 have J2ME support? AFAIK no. Maybe a native connector would be better, than :rolleyes:

Look for "SyncML" and/or "Sync4j" on the forum. Looks like there's some (not official) ways to sync SyncML devices (including your SE phone) with Zimbra.

I tested Roadsync for UIQ (SE P900, SE P910, Motorola A1000) and Roadsync for J2ME and both worked with Zimbra Mobile.
