Oliver,
Thanks for the update. I did the 8.0.2. upgrade yesterday morning, and updated by ZeXtras extensions as well. So far 58 hours uptime no issues yet. Will keep a close eye, but for now, "so...
I'm getting the same situation approximate twice per week. My machine is an amazon EC2 instance of CentOS 6.2 x86_64 with an 800GB EBS volume mounted at /opt containing Zimbra 8.0.1 and all of it's...
Good to know. I'm thinking that by bumping up my VM size, the increased Memory results in larger IO buffer size, and I'm actually seeing the problem occur more often than when it was on the smaller...
Yes, and even after restart, the problem seems to quickly re-appear.
The remedy that lasts the longest is a complete re-install/upgrade of the same version that's running. Since I'm hosting this VM...
One more thing I have noticed: After this occurs, and I do a "zmcontrol restart", I get permissions errors in my /var/log/messages as follows:
Nov 30 16:57:28 mail zmconfigd[18287]: Exception in...
zmcontrol restart always seems to set things right, but I can't be taking my server down for 10 minutes every time it's starts acting like this! I have run zimbra 5 and zimbra 6 servers for over a...
Can anyone point me to the relevant logs that might reveal the issue here? I'm not seeing anything of interest in /var/log/zimbra.log
I'm seeing the same thing. I'm running 8.0.1 in an Amazon instance, and just doubled my CPU capacity, and it ran for about 10 hours with no problem, and is now pegging 140+%
Yeah... But again, my company does it's business based on commitments to delivery schedules, and those dates are important. As a software developer, I understand that releasing software has become...
Thanks by the way, Klug for the info. I was not aware that M$ had taken a different approach in 2011... The Mac development team at M$ can now partake in the abuse I'm getting from my users! :)
Well, after over 2 years of silence on this issue, it would be very helpful if VMWare would clarify this rather than sweeping it under the rug, and hoping people don't notice until it's too late.
It would be a huge slap in the face to Mac users if VMware rolls out Office '13 support before Office '11 support!
It looks like Kerio's mail server is implementing the full EWS functionality... Shame that Zimbra hasn't done this yet...
I am also very interested in this functionality! My clients are able to use "Exchange Activesync" profiles on their phones to connect to my zimbra server, but shouldn't they be able to use Outlook...
I am having the same issue on my Zimbra 8.0 install
I'm having the same problem with Zimbra 8, only I'm trying to install a Thawte SSL cert...
Thanks! I will check them out.
Anyone working on this? I am very interested in having this functionality as well...
I too, am very interested in this functionality!
I'm looking for a solid way to use Alfresco 4 as the data-store for the Zimbra 7 briefcase. Has anyone done this?
Same result for me? Any help?
I see it in Zimbra Desktop 2.0 under windows 7 as well.
Why is it that all of the other columns in the mail view are sortable except "From"? I am constantly trying to use this. I'm sure there are others who would appreciate this functionality.
Seeing the same with CentOS 5.4 and Zimbra 6. The consensus out there is that this is a problem with the XEN 3.0.x included in Centos 5.3 and above. If this is the case, is anyone aware of a...
