wow.. thanks quanah i did dig a little deeper. It turns out that an old backup archive folder was still there ..even thou we change backup methods :) .. i even got to learn some new linux commands...

Quanah ... in the ldap folder i have like 20 .bak files that are about 100k each... so i think i can rule out that folder

Quanah we dont use the ldap feature at all, but i will still look into that. Secondly when i tried lytledd suggestion.. the server froze, left the machine for about 1hr and nothing came up...all...
