Funambol and GAL

Hello,

I have working installation of Zimbra & Funambol.

My clients are syncing contacts, tasks and calendars.

But they don't get GAL contacts.
I used this wiki:

How can I get also zimbraGalContacts to outlook funambol client?

I also use z-push for mobile devices.

But what I need is syncing outlook:
contacts <--> zimbra
contacts <-- zimbra gal
calendar <--> zimbra
task <--> zimbra

------------
So everything works exept:
contacts <-- zimbra gal

And my problem still remains :-)

My mistake. I though Funambol was another type of Z-Push.

If GAL syncing is not working through funambol,what is the usage of GAL field in funambol?In thunderbird we can access GAL through zindus.

Can't your do LDAP search in Outlook to get the GAL?

Or, if you shared the GALsync contacts with everyuser, can't you sync them through Funambol?

I can access only internal data source of zimbra by using ldap query in outlook.In my zimbra, GAL is configured in "both" mode(Internal and external data sources).External data source is Active directory.I can access all the contacts(From internal and external) in zimbra desktop and in zimbra web access but not in outlook.

Through funambol i can sync calendar,tasks and personal contacts but i am not able to sync my gal using funambol.

You mean,login as galsync user and share the contacts for the every user?

Then how can i configure funambol with shared contacts?

Probably I'll have to use LDAP, but this solution won't work if people are outside of the firm, since we don't allow ldap connections from the cloud.
I'd prefer a funambol solution.

I have tried this. I can see shared contacts in web UI but not in funambol.
It seems it doesn't checks for sub folders.
