New Zimbra user-Blackberry help!

Good afternoon,

I am new to the Zimbra email applications and have recently added my email address to my Blackberry Torch. I am busy loading addresses into my email address book and was hoping that it would automatically sync to my Blackberry. Thus far it has not and I was wondering what I can do so that I am not entering it twice.

Any advice?

The answer would depend on whether you're using a hosted service, your own Zimbra (or company) server and whether you're using an IMAP connection to the Zimbra server - do you know what type of connection it is?

Unfortunately I do not, I just recently started

How are you setting up the email on your phone, is it an IMAP client?

As embarassing as it is, Im not familiar with what IMAP is.

I have sucessfully added the emails where they are coming in and I am able to send them out, but the address book doesnt sync over to my phone after I have entered it into my email address book.
