Default Zimlets and developing for mobile devices

Hi,

I'm new to Zimbra. Is it possible to write/deploy zimlets on mobile phones? Is there an API I can use to write mobile phone applications to talk directly to the Zimbra server? Could you please point me to some docs?

Thanks,
-Andrew

As far as I know most Mobile clients use a heavily simplified HTML page... so no Zimlets. As for an api to communicate with the Zimbra server the REST API can accomplish some basic tasks: ZCS 6.0:Zimbra REST API Reference - Zimbra :: Wiki
But you should look into using SOAP, the documentation for which is in the Zimbra source. Building Zimbra using Perforce - Zimbra :: Wiki
