    Yes, I'm running Zimbra 8.0 on Ubuntu 10.04, with Z-push 1.5.11 and zimbrabackend 53, without any problems.

    Like it says - check your configuration. Check config.php

    Make sure you only have one Backend Provider definition, and it looks like

    define('BACKEND_PROVIDER', "BackendZimbra");

    Hi

    I have set it up again from the beginning, and now it works ok on my zimbra 6 server, I don't find out what was wrong with the first install
    but i works now.

    I have also make a zimbra 8 server and I will test z-push 2 and zimbra backend with this, and come back with the result

    (in z-push 2 I also have one zimbra folder in backend folder)

    and can I use the user file from z-push 1,5
    like this or this will not work?

    <zimbrabackend user="cb">

    For now, the user directory should be in the same folder as index.php (the BASE_DIR) - but in light of z-push-2 moving all the state information to a separate tree - maybe I should move that too. I believe the same file should still work - I am not aware of any changes that would have broken that. Make sure apache can read the folder.

    Do you use multiple profiles ? or are you only using the file to change the sending name/email address ?

    There wasn't, as nobody had ever asked, but I can add a sendasemail SmartFolders directive which would allow you to do it - similar to the sendasname directive.

    Note that the user would still require the Class Of Service option [Allow sending email from any address] in order to use anything other than a defined alias.

    Hi

    I have read about smartfolders and I can't see it is easier to set than userfiles, I think I will try to set it up with user files for now
    but if it is easy to add in smartfolder you can go for it, laster on we can choose what we like

    Thanks for the answer

    Angry Z-Push-2 and ZimbraBackend Contact Synchronization

    I have installed the Latest ZimbraBackend with Z-Push-2 on my Ubuntu 10.04 based Zimbra 8 server. (Not on the same one).

    Push email seems to be working fine, synchronization as well, but when I tried to create a Contact on the phone there seems to be an issue with synchronizing the contact with the Zimbra server. It keeps hanging and creating the same contact multiple times. (I had my test contact created (9000 times ).

    Has anybody experienced a similar problem?
