    Any ideas.
    I've got z-push working w/ HTML on Zimbra (at least on Android - haven't checked iPhone yet). I did use both the as12.1 tree of z-push & Zimbrabackend. The zimbradb.php needs to move from the backend to the includes dir (per the notes), but it does work & work well.

    I know z-push 2.0 is supposed to finally have html, and I haven't tested the current svn checkout to see yet, but as12.1 works now. I'd save yourself some trouble and just use the as12.1 branches of both and it basically just works. I could zip up my files for you if you're interested, just remember that the state info completely changes and all phones will re-sync fully (not been a problem on my end - no dups etc...) I've tested this on my home server first, but am about to deploy it to 3 other mail servers that I manage for my job.

    Default Trouble with user xml files

    I have managed to get everything working with Smart Folders, but I would like to use the user xml files so I can have two profiles for the two devices on my account. However it is not finding my xml file. It finds the uid, then doesn't seem to know it right after that. Here are the relevant lines from debug.txt (I've changed username):

    <code>
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] Start
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] Z-Push version: 1.5.6-954
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] Client IP: 173.141.171.214
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] Client supports version 2.5
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] PHP version: 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.11 - z-push Zimbra Backend version: 51
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] START Logon { username = user@test.com; domain = user; password = <hidden> }
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] END Logon { connected = true; uid = user }
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] START Setup { userid = p1\user@test.com; devid = validate; protocolversion = 2.5; useragent = Android/0.3 }
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] No Default Profile or Matching Profile "p1" Found For User "" - Default Rules Will Apply
    01/02/12 13:49:39 [24453] [user@test.com] END Setup { 89 Folders Loaded }
    </code>

    The xml file is named user.xml in the z-push/zimbra folder with full permissions.

    I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thanks!

    If I'm not mistaken (and I very well might be), once you enable Smart Folders, the user xml files are ignored. I'm running as12.1 for the backend & z-push and I seem to recall seeing that in the debug.txt when first setting it up.

    Having just read the release notes and zimbra.php, I can confirm that enabling smart folders does disable user.xml.

    Thanks for that waltholman, I'll put it up now and get it going as html is indeed my only real reason for going to z-push 2.

    It's probably still a good idea to persist with z-push 2 if possible and try to resolve the missing class problem as z-push 2 is eas 14, which admittedly doesn't seem to add much, but it will bring it up to exchange 2010, and development will continue on it.

    I have Smart Folders disabled and the account on the phone was deleted and another created. I had the exact same debug text prior to enabling Smart Folders - I only enabled it because I couldn't get the user xml file to work.

    Yes - z-push 2 will bring HTML to z-push. But there are still some issues with it - particularly with android/windows mobile - iPhone works pretty well. I have a version of the backend for it that is close to ready - but there is no point in releasing it until z-push itself is more stable.

    For now, if you want HTML - use the as12.1 branch from the z-push SVN - together with the as12.1 branch of the zimbra backend.

    Z-Push Zimbra Backend is a great product. But support in one thread is a mess!

    Is it possible to get an extra tree in the forum. Would make support and searching much faster and easier.

    If Zimbra will not offer an own sub forum could we use instead the forum in sf?

    By the way - for discussion this should go to its own thread!

    You can use the Tracker on the sf site to add a Support Request.

    Default User xml files

    Is there anything else I can provide regarding the issue I'm having with user xml files that could help pinpoint the problem? I've search extensively and read pretty much every page of this thread, but haven't found the same issue anywhere. Thanks.
