Default Migration of Qmail mails to zimbara

Hi All,
I would like to know how I can migrate the qmail mails to zimbra. I am trying to convince my organization to mote to zimbra. We currently use qmail. I would be happy to know the process to migrate qmail mails to zimbra. The mails boxes are very big to import from the mail clients(Approx 2GB each account). I am taking about 80 GB of mails to be moved from qmail server to zimbra. I cannot ask the clients to download their mails(we currently use IMAPS4) as the mail boxes are big and if they start the downloads, the mail server will get overloaded.
Is there any way that I can copy all the mails from the qmail server to a shared folder/zimbra server and from there I can migrate them.
Any help would be appreciated as I can give a full end-to-end plan to my organization.

Thanks in advance .

Hello & welcome.

Browsing/searching the forum and wiki should help you.
There are several pages about "migration" in the wiki, especially on using "imapsync".

I think the biggest pain in your case will be to recreate the users in Zimbra.
Then you can imapsync their data (and change the MX, wait for propagation, do an imapsync again and you're done).

User creation will not be a big problem as it is one time job. That's perfectly acceptable. I am more keen on getting a tool/program which reads the mails and imports them. Let me check in the wiki for imapsync.
BTW, thanks for soo fast rely. Really appreciate it.

Thanks

The section you want to look at is the User Migration section in the wiki.

Do you realise this thread is three years old and the original poster hasn't responded to any of the answers, so far. If you have a question or problem with a migration you should start a new thread and not tag your question to an old thread.
