Default Domino Migration LDAP log in problems

Hi friends, I have a problem during the running of ZCS Migration Wizard for Domino. The Import Destination dialog is ok, the next Destination Domain dialog is ok, but the next one LDAP server information dialog generate an error after entering the informations required:
LDAP Server: domino01 (this is the name of the server, internal)
LDAP Port: 390 (non standard port)
User DN: _user_name_
Password: _password_

Clicking on the "Next" the Wizard return this error:
"Unable to bind to LDAP server domino01 at port 390."

Do you have an idea on whats happening? Why we cannot log in to the domino server? We can have full access to the Domino Server if it is necessary to check or change some configuration.

Thank you for your help.

Paolo

Default Domino Server Name?

hi paolo,

try using the fully qualified host name of the domino server..i.e. domino01.mycompany.com. if this doesn't work, you can always try to download a free ldap browser to verify your ldap server settings on the domino server. is the ldap task running?

thanks

Default Trying LDAP browser

Hi Tony:

- full name tryed
- I'm downloading now the ldap browser for the test
- the ldap task seems running on port 390

After downloading the LDAP browser I'll try again to log in and then I'll make the report in the next post.

Thank you.

Paolo

Default check your credentials

also make sure to check the credentials that you are using to authenticate. maybe your "internet password" is not in sync with your notes password?

Default We don't see all the Domino accounts

It was a DN syntax problem, now solved, thanks for your suggestions. But we have another problem now: when we must define which users should be migrated to Zimbra, clicking the Object Picker and inserting the wildcard "*" or "?" we have a list of 11 Domino users instead of 16 (5 accounts are not visible in the list).

Do you know where can be the problem? What we can try to proceed with a full migration of all accounts?

Thank you.

Paolo

Hi,

Do the 5 users who are not getting displayed have internet address field defined?
