Migration from Sun Java Calendar System

We're preparing to migrate our users from the Sun Java Calendar system to Zimbra. I am testing calendar migrations.

I was able to export my Sun calendar to a .ics file and then imported it into Zimbra using the information provided in the Wiki.

The events now appear in Zimbra, but when I right click these imported events I get this.



So the events all imported in a state where they haven't been confirmed/accepted. If I choose to OPEN, it just opens the event in a window but I can't edit it. If I choose to ACCEPT/DECLINE/TENTATIVE I get the following error.



I am not able to edit any of these imported events. Anyone know why?

It looks like you are not retaining the same email address when migrating to the new system. Since the organizer of the appointment doesn't match the mailbox owner, you cannot edit the appointment (ie, only the organizer can edit it). If you did retain the email address or you modified the calendar data to set the organizer to the new email address, things would work as expected. There's a brief discussion of this here:
