Zimbra External LDAP auth

Hello all,
I'm a newbie at zimbra, but wanna resolve one task with my ZCS. I've to integrate ZCS and another one server. The integration is that both servers must have a single LDAP authentication base.

[ZCS]         <---->        [Portal with LDAP base]
Server #1                     Server #2

So to configure the authentication of a zimbra user I've to change "LDAP auth filter", it's ok. But if I create an account in zimbra with an external ldap settings it can't add a new entry to an external ldap tree (using the sniffer I see there is no messages between these two servers via ldap). Is this feature not implemented yet or is it my mistake?

Zimbra will read-only for auth. We do not write or try to create accounts in an external server or LDAP directory. We have had requests for both this and auto-provisioning (auto create mail box if external auth is successful) I think either will solve your problem. You can find them in bugzilla and vote.
