    Default groups of contact importing from domino

    I am trying to migrate from Domino 8.5.3 to Zimbra 8.04, the migration wizard is unable
    to import group of contacts from users' address books.
    In zimbra 7 the wizard was able to import group, members had the real email address if
    they was external or the domino DN if they was internal.
    Nown in 8.05 the wizard only creates an empty group and is unable to import all groups.

    Can someone confirm this strange behaviour ?

    Nothing has changed in terms of contact import with Domino Migration Wizard. It would be good if you could provide migration logs to give better understanding about the problem.

    Do mention exact Migration Wizard and Zimbra Version?

    I can confirm that migration wizard behaviour is different.
    ZCS Domino Migration Wizard 8.0.5.993 (and others 8.0.x) importing on ZCS release 8.0.4_GA_5737.RHEL6_64_20130524120036 RHEL6_64 NETWORK edition, Patch 8.0.4_P1
    Only create the contact group but it's empty. The same wizard importing on ZCS release 7.2.2_GA_2852.RHEL5_64_20121204211814 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition
    creates the group and in the group I can see two regular email address for external domains and two with the typical domino DN for internal.

    Hello lfasci,

    I stumbled upon this issue quite some times, but the cause was never the Domino Migration Wizard itself.
    Contact groups must be correctly configured on the Domino side, e.g. a group referencing a different/alternative DN for the domain you are migrating... There are a lot of things "taken as granted" in Domino and in the Notes client that are formally incorrect, and in order for the Migration Wizard to properly work you need to find out and fix this things.

    I have seen the bug reported for this behavior.

    Could you please enable soap logging for the account when migration is taking place and soap request/response from mailbox.log will clear the picture about what is happening.

    "zmprov help log" will give more details about how to enable logging.
