Default Migrating from Outlook/Exchange - appointments become read-only meeting requests

I used the ZCS Import Wizard for Outlook to import users .pst files - all calendar appointments are now meeting requests instead - and read only. I tested Kerio awhile back and ran into same problem there - something to do with the originator of the appointment not matching up

I guess I'm going to have to manually copy all appointments to Zimbra - no easy task for a couple of my users that have tons of them & booked into the next year.

The importers have a feature to avoid this exact problem. There is an option to re-write the address of the organizer field of appointments. See the attached screenshot.

There is one caveat, since the server doesn't allow you to change the organizer of an appointment, if you've already imported your appointments you need to delete them and re-import everything. Ideally, you would delete the account and start over.
