Question Lotus migration

Hi all,

I have my Lotus Domino server on Linux platform. I have my domino administrator on a windows platform.
So can I use the zimbra script on my computer with Domino administrator (if I replicate all my database on my computer) ?, or Zimbra script need Domino server ?

Thanks

I don't really understand what you're trying to do, could you explain in a bit more detail? What 'zimbra script' are you talking about?

sorry, I do not speek very well.

I want to migrate my Domino server on a Zimbra server. My Domino server is on a linux platform.
I want to use the "ZCS Migration Wizard for Domino", but it is a windows executable.
I cannot create a new domino server on windows because I have lost my cdrom ...

I have read the pdf "Migrating from IBM Lotus Domino to Zimbra Collaboration Suite", in the Lotus requirements ZCS MWD just need the path to lotus notes and a dll. Maybe I can execute the ZCS MWD on my computer with the lotus notes administrator ...

Do you understand more ?

Yes, I understand what you're asking.

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question. I think the easiest thing to do would be to email Zimbra support with this question (you are using the Zimbra Network Edition, arent you?) they'll be able to give you the correct answer.

Is it just email you're trying to move to Zimbra?

Hi

The wizard requires the Lotus Client on the machine it's running on, do you have a copy of that on your Windows machine?

Sorry ??

The wizard needs the Domino server and the lotus client on the same computer ?

Of course I have the Lotus Client, and the Lotus Adminitrator on my computer.

I quite think that's what I said.

Is this the Windows machine where you installed the import wizard? If it is then the wizard should work.

I understood you to say earlier that you tried the wizard on a Windows machine, is that correct? On that machine you need the Lotus Client, it's described in the migration readme. If you have that then you should be able to run the wizard to migrate from your Domino server.

Sounds like there are DNS problems. Is there correct DNS A & MX records setup for the Zimbra server? Is the Zimbra server up and running OK? What does running 'zmcontrol status' as the Zimbra user show you.
