    Default Migrating from Exchange 2010 to Zimbra 8, Some accounts Migrate -- Others Don't

    Migrating from an Exchange 2010 on Windows Server 2008 to Zimbra 8.

    I have a workstation that is logged as Domain Admin and I am able to migrate some email accounts, but on other email accounts I receive the below error. These accounts have the same domain settings. The email accounts are there and verified. It doesn't seem to be linked by size of the account.

    Does this happen approximately every 30 accounts you migrate? Did you whitelist the server so the DoS filter doesn't block it?

    Please execute following command on Zimbra Server and try migrating. Hope this will work.

    zmprov mcf zimbraHttpThrottleSafeIPs <Your Migration Client IP>


    zmmailboxdctl restart

    I am able to reproduce the problem on dev setup when there is no entry of
    legacyExchangeDN associated with user account in AD.

    Problem seems to be non availability of legacyExchangeDN
    attribute with the user account in AD and this attribute could be associated
    with other account migrated successfully.

    To check the values of legacyExchangeDN, you can use ADSI Edit
    (Run->adsiedit.msc->Goto User Container->Right Click on User->Click
    Properties)

    Hello,

    I have similar problem. When I migrate more than 100 mailboxes After 15-20 mailboxes migrations stops. So I increase on both server admin session timeout in Administration side.

    Try migrating 3-4 account/mailboxes in a go.
