imapsync date string error

Hi,


today I want start syncing the mail accounts from out old zimbra 5 to zimbra 8 using imapsync.

After installing imapsync and libdate-manip-perl
I get the following message:


+ NO msg #5032 [4V6aH6eaFOxssgIO/wSNwQ] in Cervical Ca Screening
+ Copying msg #5032:2554 to folder Cervical Ca Screening
flags from : [\Seen]["06 Nov 2012 11:33:03 +0300"]
51 BAD parse error: unexpected character in date string
at /usr/bin/imapsync line 1178
Couldn't append msg #5032 (Subject:[Fwd: VIA training for ****]) to folder Cervical Ca Screening: 51 BAD parse error: unexpected character in date string

Any ideas? Could the problem be the libdate-manip from ubuntu?

solotion is:

It's an error on Line 1163 of ImapSync:

$d = UnixDate(ParseDate($d), "%d %b %Y %H:%M:%S %z");

Should be

$d = UnixDate(ParseDate($d), "%d-%b-%Y %H:%M:%S %z");

to be RFC compliant.

After making that change, it works like a charm.

Seems the previous versions just send the date on to the destination in the same (hopefully RFC compliant) format the source gave it to them, but the new version parses it and reformats it. (But not quite to RFC standards.)
