    Default Migration from sbs/exchange 2003 + BES

    Hi,
I'm considering zimbra to migrate a 15 users small business server 2003 / exchange.

We're using rim/blackberry bes express as well, with 10 blackberries, which I'd like to replace with android od iPhone phones.
A blackberry/bes feature that we depend on is the capability to read large email attachment without downloading them (bes sends to blackberry only the page it requests): is there a similar function in zimbra or in any addon/ that makes it happen with android or iphone clients as well (preferably using the phone's native mail app)?

    Thank you
    Guido

It depends on if you're going to be using the OSE or NE edition of Zimbra.

OSE has no 'native' support beyond IMAP or POP3 for smart phones, and I think the support for viewing single pages on large attachments would be a mail client feature and neither of my two mail apps for Android allow me to view only the page I'm on.

They both download the attachment before showing it to me.

I plan to use the network edition, starting with the free one (limited to 15 Clients) and upgrading to The full edition after one year or so.

Does this give more chanches to obtain what we need?

    Tank you

Most likely. NE support BES, but I could never wrap my head around it, not being a MS guru. I guessing though, if you have a functional BES install, then it wouldn't be hard for you to set it up with Zimbra.

Yes, I knew that, I'm looking for a way to get rid of BES+blackberries.

The desired final result would be to use android or iPhones or winphones to view email attachments without fully download them, as blackberries do.

    Thanks
    Guido
