    Default imapsync : IO::Socket::SSL: connect: Connection refused

    Hi,

    I'm trying to migrate the accounts from worldclient to Zimbra with imapsync.
    I can't figure it out how to fix this issue.
    Please anyone help me to fix it ?

    Code:
    # /usr/bin/imapsync --host1 172.16.0.12 --user1 user@domain.com--passfile1 /home/username/password1 --host2 172.16.12.12 --user2 user@domain.com --passfile2 /home/username/password3 --ssl2 --noauthmd5
    $RCSfile: imapsync,v $ $Revision: 1.286 $ $Date: 2009/07/24 15:53:04 $
    Here is a [linux] system (Linux ZIMBRIX 2.6.32-38-server #83-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 4 11:26:59 UTC 2012 x86_64)
    with perl 5.10.1

    Digest::HMAC_MD5
    Term::ReadKey     2.30
    Date::Manip
     and the module Mail::IMAPClient version used here is 3.21
    Command line used:

    Turned ON syncinternaldates, will set the internal dates (arrival dates) on host2 same as host1.

    It's not getting a connection to your Zimbra server. Instead of --ssl2 try --tls2

    Also check the firewall and make sure it's not blocking port 993.

    Here the result when I try tls : Unknown option: tls2

    I stopped the firewall on my ubuntu server but the problem is still here.

    It looks like a network issue as it isn't connecting to start to authenticate. The version of imapsync is a little out of date but should still work fine. Can you telnet into port 993? It should connect but throw back nothing. type QUIT and enter to close out:
    Code:
    [root@obelix ~]# telnet server.domain.com 993
    Trying 192.168.1.10...
    Connected to server.domain.com (192.168.1.10).
    Escape character is '^]'.
    QUIT

    Connection closed by foreign host.
    [root@obelix ~]#
    Should let you know if the port is open and accessible or not.
