    Exclamation Different Config?

    Hi,

I had a look at those items using zmprov gcf ... They are all empty already.

From what I can remember, I had to use a different command to set the configuration. Trying hard to remember, I think it has ldap in its name.

I'm sure we used to use 2 or 3 different commands to configure zimbra, in the past (well about 12 months ago).

Is my memory failing me, or is my system stuck in some strange configuration setting.

    Exclamation

A Little more digging and I found that exporting the ldap database
    Code:
    zimbra@zimbra:~> openldap/sbin/slapcat -f /opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf -l /tmp/ldap.ldif
The first database does not allow slapcat; using the first available one (2)
and having a look at the contents, showed:
    Code:
    dn: dc=foobar,dc=org,dc=uk
    ...
    objectClass: dcObject
    objectClass: organization
    objectClass: zimbraDomain
    ...
    zimbraMailCatchAllAddress: @foobar.org.uk
    zimbraMailCatchAllForwardingAddress: @foobar.org.uk
    zimbraMailTransport: smtp:mercury.foobar.org.uk
    ...
I'm a little worried about it having to look at a second database, but the lines I want to remove are definatly there.

    Where as:
    Code:
    zmprov gacf | grep ^zimbraMail
    zimbraMailPort: 80
    zimbraMailSSLPort: 0
    zimbraMailURL: /zimbra
    Indicates the items arn't there.

    Am I loosing it?

Does this server have multiple domains on it? Have you checked them all for those entries? Probably a silly question but why do you think (apart from those entries) you still have a split domain setup and working? I'm assuming it's using another server still, are you trying to decommission the other server?

I only have 1 domain (unless an alias is considered a second domain).

I know its still doing split domains, because my old server is still receiving emails from it. Plus if I stop my old server, Zimbra builds up a big queue quite quickly.

And yes, I want to decommission my old server, and get Zimbra to send out its own, none deliverable messages. Plus I want to use the old server for a new project.

Thanks for all your help so far. I just though this a simple job.

As I'm new to zimbra, I have had the same problem. Split Domain worked also great for me. Thanks.
