I think you could like ZeXtras Migration Tool..
It's a free tool for Zimbra-to-Zimbra migrations, and you would just need to upgrade your current server to 6.0.7+ (as ZxMig requires Zimbra 6.0.7 or older to work), install and configure your new Zimbra 7 machine and use ZeXtras Migration Tool to transfer all the data.

You can find more informations in the ZxMig's Zimbra Gallery page.

Have a Nice Day.

Never heard of this but it looks like a backup solution for the open source edition. I'll take a closer look at it.

Hi lads , thanks or your reply. Here is the full problem.

We have 6.02 on our central system which is used by everyone .Now we do nightly backup and now we would like to update to 7.1.2 . We have a a paid license one zcs. The upgrade process be simple and upgrade the version easily no prob. But i have a question which is disaster recovery area. So lets say the system dies and we have a backup from 6.02 version . But now we can only get 7.1.2 version , so will the data from 6.02 work fine in 7.1.2 version on a same hardware machine ?
I will look at zextra .
Cheers

The old versions are still available.

In case of disaster, install the old version, restore, upgrade.

That's the safe way to restore.
It might or might not work the other way.
