password changed in migration

Hi,

I have migrate exhange server to zimbra but password of all account has been changed. can u help me in migration without change of password of all account. we have 1000 above account.

If you're using Zimbra for authentication, the passwords will have to be changed. Zimbra can't get access to the Exchange passwords, as far as I know.

If you're using Active Directory, you can set up your domains within Zimbra to authenticate against AD, so then the passwords shouldn't be effected. You can find instructions for that in the Wiki and the documentation.

Try reading the wiki article, the Admin Guide documentation or even just follow the external authentication wizard in the Admin UI - there's even an online help in the admin UI.

Hi Bill,

This link works fine with external LDAP configuration but what if the exchange server is closed the users start getting the password prompt.
