Default Migrating from Horde to Zimbra

Hi,

Can anyone pleased be so kind as to advise me how to migrate 200 odd email accounts from Horde (Plesk) to Zimbra or direct me to some online resources explaining just that?

I have virtually no knowledge of Horde.

I have admin privileges to the server Horde resides on.

Does anyone know what Horde uses for its mailbox store and what mta it uses?

any help greatly appreciated!

Why have you marked this thread as 'Solved'? Have you looked through the forums and wiki for migration strategies? Does the Horde documentation not tell you which MTA it uses?

Horde is an IMAP-based webmail program, so you need to look in the horde configuration files to find out where it connects to. And then go to that server (it may be the same one that horde is on, also) and find out what the mailboxes are. You can then use imapsync to migrate email into Zimbra, or the migration tool within Zimbra.

Hi and thanks for your reply!

So, forget about Horde, i am dealing with an IMAP server!

I am trying to use the Zimbra migration tool in the admin area but the issue I am having is that I cannot find any resources online that describe the XML format to use for provisioning accounts.

Does anyone know the format?

Thank you

Hi,
I've try that:

imapsync --host1 site1:143 --user1 wwwwww --password1 hhhhhhhh --prefix1 INBOX --authmech1 LOGIN --host2 site2 (zimbraserver):143 --user2 wwwwww --password2 hhhhhhhhhh --prefix2 INBOX --authmech2 LOGIN --subscribe --sep2=/ --useheader 'Message-ID' --skipsize

and I have got that answer:
************************************************** ******
Time : 149 sec
Messages transferred : 271
Messages skipped : 0
Total bytes transferred: 202845364
Total bytes skipped : 0
Total bytes error : 132934111
Detected 12 errors
*************************************************
But no mails on zimbra i don't understand where they are
