Thx LMStone. I already saw this link, and i started working on it. I have an idea, which i hope which will work... but for that i need to test it first... so i am going to do that...

meanwhile i got another problem with my server... The LDAP Replica machine (site1 machine) is not communicating with LDAP Server (HO machine)

ldapsearch -ZZ -x -H ldap://mail.dom7.com:389/ -D "uid=zimbra,cn=admins,cn=zimbra" -b "" -s base -W +
ldap_start_tls: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)


So trying to solve.. it... first.. then to the scenario....

i will update u... with the result...

if u have any idea about this ldap tls problem... kindly post something...

Most times errors like that are caused either by misconfigured DNS or a certificate issue.

I'd look at name resolution within your rack as a first step.

thx for the tip... it was a DNS issue... the named was not running after a reboot... so now its ok...

let me try out diff possibilities on the rights... and will post the update...
