Default [SOLVED] Migrade mails and contacts from OE to Zimbra

Hi,

We have been using OE with pop3 from our ISP,
As we started hitting 20 users I wanted to build my own mail server, that will allow me control over mailboxes, and will save external traffic, and naturally ZCS looks like a great product that will give me just that.

So I have setup a server, created users and installed Zimbra Desktop on the client machines, I also used fetchmail as per suggestions in the forums, and both are working,

My problem though is copying the old mails from OE and Live mail to the Zimbra desktop client, one suggestion I found was to connect to the ZCS server with MAPI and then copy the mails to the Zimbra mail box, but I could not connect to the mailbox using OE or LM, I was able to connect using zimbra desktop, and using MAPI and Thunderbird...

I would like to know how to connect OE to my Zimbra mailbox using MAPI, and if there is a better way to move mails from the old client to the new client.

Thanks,
David.

Default Sorry, got the name wrong, I did mean IMAP

can you walk me through setting up an IMAP account on OE, cause I have tried all of the combinations I could find, with or without SSL, using SPA or not, and the best I got was "clear text not allowed", with thunderbird though it just worked...

DAvid,

Default Problem Solved

Well at the end this was easy enough, I am disappointed I needed to find this out on my own though...

Looks like Outlook Express and Live mail need the certificate to be installed in the system, so I downloaded the Zimbra certificate, and installed it to the windows, and this resolved the connection issue.

Thanks anyway.
David.
