How Do You Migrate Exchange Email Addresses

I am getting ready to migrate from Exchange 2003 to Zimbra 6. I have done some test migrations with the Exchange Migration Wizard, and have been fairly successful. The one main problem I have is getting the correct email address to come over to the Zimbra server.

In Exchange, my Active Directory user names are standardized with firstinitial, first 5 digits of the last name, then a two digit number. The user email addresses however are all standardized as firstname.lastname@domain.com.

The wizard creates the email address in zimbra keyed off the Active Directory name username, rather than the email address field.

What can I do to resolve this problem such that I do not have to edit each account indvidually (which would take several days!)
