Big outgoing attachment parted

Hi all

after we had harware failure on our old server we restore full backup on new machine which was powered by ESXi
we installed ubuntu 606lts (same as old) and with wiki restore procedure managed to put system up and running

but now have problems with big (5-7MB) attachment
we tried few extensions (rar,doc,zip) with few users and attachment gets to recipient but they are corrupted
usually get in two "parts", first is munged mail big about 2MB other is attachment decreased for first "part" (2MB)

only thing a can find in logs is part where convertd service is not running
i am not sure does it is related so we tried to upgrade from 5.0.16 to 5.0.22 network edition.

after upgrade convertd is down and attachments are parted also
we dont have problems with incoming attachments
