At startup, the domino migration tool creates a internal map of all the domino users and corresponding email addresses from specified LDAP. Provided baseDN is used to query the LDAP users. If the base DN is not correct then tool fails to create this map and has no information to resolve it to corresponding mail addresses and it uses the Domino style email address e.g. CN=JOHN DOE/OU=PRODUCTION/O=DOMAIN .
Once user provide the correct baseDN and tool successfully creates the map, user will see the “DN Map Creation sucessfully done” message in tool logs otherwise they will see “DN Map creation failed.” Message. The best way to get the correct basedDN is using any LDAP browser and find the correct base DN which can be used to query the all users.

This error occurs if the tool fails to query LDAP users for the provided base DN.
You can verify the base DN using the LDAP browser and get the correct base DN which can be used to query all users as mentioned by Amitabh.
Please attach the log file if the above point doesn’t help.

As the log shows “DN Map creation failed”, it seems that the tool is not able to get the users for the base DN provided in the migration tool. You can browse through any LDAP browser using the base DN you had specified in the tool and verify whether you are able to query all the users for that base DN.

Other way round, using any LDAP browser get the base DN for which you were able to query all the users. Then provide the same base DN in the tool. When the tool successfully creates the map it logs “DN Map Creation sucessfully done” in the log file.

I used in ldap browser the same login/password than ZCSmigration.

Whith ldap browser i can view all users...

For example...

in ldap browser i don't spécify BASE
in ZCS migration i don't specify BASE_DN
