Default should samba and zimbra different servers?

Hello everybody,

I am migrating from Exchange to zimbra ldap samba.I have to make users authanticate on centos samba after migrating their accounts.Should I install samba and zimbra different servers?After mailbox migration,we shutdown excahnge and active directory on server 2003.

Pls,help me
