Hi esra,

You could obtain more information from log file m2l.log in a temporary folder. Also, pls. check those requirements - Preparing to Use the Migration Wizard - Zimbra :: Wiki.

Roman

Esra,

I have had a strange ZMT behavior when I used it on Exchange 2003 Server. In my case, m2l.log grew with rapid speed (I have had 1,5+ GB log file and it continued to grow).

I think that MAPI library which has installed with Exchange System Manager by default is differ from that's required for ZMT. Therefore, I recommend you use that tool from workstation with Outlook 2003/2007 has installed on it.

Pls., let me know about results.

Regards,
Roman

Default Migrate

Hi Roman,

I run the migration wizard on xp professional with outlook 2003,it also imports mails. You are correct ,thank you very much.

But now,I need to know how to samba with ldap allow these accounts to authanticate through zimbra ldap on CentOS.Because,we will use just only zimbra on centos, and I will shut down exchange server on server 2003.So,how to authanticate clients on Centos with zimbra.Maybe,I have to migrate all the accounts on active directory?Have you had any experiences about that?PLs..help me..

Regards,

Search the wiki (link at the top of this page) for the word 'posix'.

Hi all,

I think this link could help to implement Samba and Zimbra integration - UNIX and Windows Accounts in Zimbra LDAP and Zimbra Admin UI 6.0 - Zimbra :: Wiki.

This link also looks into Samba and Zimbra integration - Zimbra Integration With Samba - Ubuntu Based (Similar To AD And Exchange) | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials. But it has been written in 2008.

Regards,
Roman
