Default java.net.SocketTimeoutException kills zmztozmig

Is there a way of increasing the threshold for java.net.SocketTimeoutException?
I am trying to migrate a mailbox using zmztozmig, but it fails after a few hundred MB because the server is slow and triggers a java.net.SocketTimeoutException. I would like zmtozmig to be a bit more patient with the server - I don't really care how long it has to wait as long as it does what it is supposed to do.
