Default Migrate bincimap1.2.10 to zimbra with imapsync

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of upgrading our aging mail server to Zimbra and have run into an issue when trying to migrate the mail from the old qmail/bincimap server. I can successfully sync mail when I know the user's password on the old server. I can also successfully authenticate to bincimap using the "--authuser1 root" option. Imapsync says I have authenticated as the non-admin user, but imapsync only sees and tries to sync root's email. It seems as though bincimap doesn't have the ability use a separate user for authentication.

Has anybody successfully used imapsync to migrate from bincimapd to zimbra using "authuser" instead of each user's password?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks,
Josh Frome
