You can have more than one Zimbra server accessing the same Zimbra LDAP server. Each Zimbra install just has to know how to contact a Zimbra LDAP server, but that component doesn't necessarily have to be installed on each server.

so , I am comming back to my first post. the question is: is it possible to create cn=zimbra in standart openLDAP? it is evidently that it is possible, but how?

That option is for a multi-server install of Zimbra. The answer is still no, you can't get away with using your own LDAP.

Smile yes!

i solved the problem successfully! now we have 4 zimbra servers and they are working with our old (and new)) openldap-servers. replication worx well too. none of zimbra server has zimbra-ldap package installed.
